Begin Assessment Learn More About Genetic Risk

Guided Genetic Health provides easy access to low-cost and high-quality clinical grade genetic testing and expert genetic counselors

Family History

Take a brief survey to find out if your personal or family history warrants a telephone consultation with a certified genetic counselor.

Genetic Counseling and Education

If your survey results suggest an increased risk , you can schedule a phone appointment with a genetics expert at convenient times during the day, evening, or weekend. This consult takes you on a deep dive of your personal and family history, addresses your health concerns, and explores your genetic testing options.

If your survey suggests you’re at average risk, you can still access online education and proactive genetic test options.

Genetic Testing

If you choose to get genetic testing, a kit with prepaid postage for saliva sample collection is sent to the location of your choice. Just collect your saliva sample and drop it in the mail. If you had a telephone genetic consult, your genetic counselor will talk to you about your results and what they mean for you and your family.

Medical Recommendations

If you have telephone genetic counseling, you’ll receive a summary of your risk assessment, genetic test results if applicable, and guidance on medical options based on your individual risks. If you did not speak with a genetic counselor but selected proactive genetic testing, a result summary will be provided by the laboratory. In any case, y ou can share these reports with any health care providers you choose.
